Bison Battle in Narrow Loss to Washburn

BETHANY, Okla. – The Bison battled until the final buzzer but dropped a 99-96 decision to Washburn in their GAC-MIAA Challenge opener Friday evening.

A potential game-winning three from sophomore Brantly Thompson just missed the mark as OBU was forced to foul, and the Ichabods were able to escape with the three point victory.

Antonio Wade led the way for the Bison with 30 points in his first official action in the green and gold. Davion Turner chipped in 14 points, while Dishon Lowery (13 points, team-high eight rebounds), Harrison Stoddart (12 points), and Caleb Norris (12 points) all scored...
