ECUMen's Basketball Falls in Season Opener

BOLIVAR, MO. – The East Central University men's basketball team fell to Lincoln in the 2018-19 season opener, 70-61, at the Great American Conference/Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association Crossover.
First Half: 27-40
The Tigers (0-1) opened the game with a 5-0 run
Led by as many as six (11-5), with 15:55 remaining
The Blue Tigers (1-0) then used an 11-4 run to take a 16-15 lead
Never game up the advantage and led by as many as 14 (38-24), with 1:21 remaining
Second Half: 34-30
Kept the deficit between 10-15 the second half
In the final five minutes ECU out-scored Lincoln 12-6
Final: 61-70
