Men's Basketball: Tigers Overcome Slow Start in Home Opener

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tiger men's basketball team scored 52 points in the second half to take an 83-76 victory over Central Baptist on Friday night at Bill Vinning Arena.

Trey Harris (Little Rock, Ark.) lead a quartet of Tigers in double-figure scoring efforts. The junior guard scored a career high 23 points in the victory and finished the night 8-10 from the field. Ouachita (1-0) forwards Matt Stanley (Cabot, Ark.) and Morris Talbert (North Little Rock, Ark.) each tallied 18 points in the winning effort. Senior guard Mahlon Martin (Little Rock, Ark.) added a dozen points to the mix...
