RSU Men's Basketball: Late Rally Falls Short in 80-75 Season-Opening Loss at MSU Texas

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Rogers State men's basketball team had a chance to tie the score with 18 seconds left, but the late layup was blocked, and host MSU Texas held on for an 80-75 victory on Friday (Nov. 9) to open the regular season.

With the Hillcats trailing 76-74, Jordan Johnson saw his layup attempt blocked by MSU's D'Monta Harris with 18 seconds left deserve MSU's slight edge. The Mustangs made free throws in the final seconds to hung on for the win.
