On Nov. 8, the Cherokee Outlet Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) met to learn about Bacone College from District Director Patty Armbruster, who attended the meeting.

After the DAR ritual led by Regent Barker, Armbruster described her visit to Bacone College, an Indian college in Muskogee supported by DAR. She visited Bacone with the Illinois members who had funded a revitalized kitchen.

The December meeting will be a Christmas meeting at Verna Graybill's home. Dessert will be prepared by Marceline Piper....
