Woods County Tax Roll and Excise boards hold special meetings

November 18, 2018

The Woods County Tax Roll Board held a short special meeting Wednesday morning with members Bob Seivert, Renetta Benson and Randy McMurphy present.

Besides approving the minutes from last month’s meeting, the board approved 2017 tax roll item No. 213 for Owner No. 93,680 (School District 3). The net tax difference was -$330 because of destruction of a house due to fire. The house and generator were still listed on the property when the tax roll was frozen.

Immediately following the adjournment of that meeting, the Woods County Excise Board convened to approve their monthly appropriations (including the transfer of one) and the visual inspection budget for FY 2018-2019. Present were Bob Seivert, Joe Shirley and Chris Olson.
