Women's Basketball: OC upset bid falls just short against No. 24 Angelo State

DENTON, Texas (Nov. 17, 2018) – Tied against an elite South Central Region foe with less than two minutes remaining, Oklahoma Christian could hardly catch a break down the stretch against No. 24-ranked Angelo State (Texas).

A couple of turnovers and a couple of missed shots put OC in a hole and Angelo State hit its free throws late to hold off the Lady Eagles 69-62 in the opening game of the Hilton Garden Inn Pioneer Classic at Texas Woman's University's Kitty Magee Arena.
