Funeral services for Duane Thomas Nelson will be 11 a.m. Monday, December 3, 2018, at the Alva First United Methodist Church with Rev. Wade Burleson and Rev. Dr. Carol Cook Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Alva Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Duane Thomas Nelson, son of the late Thomas and Bessie Iva (Hart) Nelson, was born February 14, 1937, in Woods County, Oklahoma, and passed away November 30, 2018, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Our sincere condolences go out to the Nelson family. I remember Duane at the family reunions he and my dad Derryl Hickman had a lot in common. He was a prankster but all fun at hart. [email protected]
