Women's Basketball: SE Drops Road Matchup at SWOSU

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – After a solid start led to a lead after one quarter, Southeastern hit a midgame cold spell and Southwestern Oklahoma State took advantage, handing the Savage Storm a 96-70 loss on Saturday afternoon in Weatherford, Okla.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 2-3 overall on the season and 1-1 in Great American Conference play.

The Savage Storm held a 17-14 lead after the first quarter after holding SWOSU to 28.6 percent shooting from the floor, including an 0-for-9 effort from behind the arc.

However, the Bulldogs would get to the free throw line 13 times in the second quarter...
