SCCF gives $5,400 to Barber County, community and teacher grants

$1,000 to South Barber Elementary

The South Central Community Foundation, based in Pratt, Kansas, awards grants to help provide funding for quality programs and projects that allow local communities to succeed.

Recently the SCCF presented Barber County with a $5,400 grant for community and teacher grants. SCCF spokesperson Holly Rooks said $1,000 went to the Heritage Center at Medicine Lodge; $1,000 went to South Barber Elementary with the remainder going to North Barber Schools.
