Cadence Nusser was selected as the winner of the "Youth Acrylic Painting" class from Graceful Arts Gallery & Studio with her Christmas card design. Bryant Goodrich, Alva State Bank, presented Nusser with her award.
Alva State Bank, in conjunction with Graceful Arts Gallery & Studio, has selected the 2018 Christmas card painting winner, Cadence Nusser.
Each year in October, Graceful Arts Studio hosts a painting class titled "Youth Acrylic Painting," where they focus on creating a winter-themed Christmas card. Students attend the six-week class, learning techniques and practicing their painting skills. Jo Decker, director for the studio, selects an idea for the painting and each student is allowed to be as creative as they want, exploring color variations and style preferences.
