The Woods County Election Board reports that only one person filed for each open school board position in the county. The filing period ended Wednesday at 5 p.m. With only one person filing, there will be no need for an April 2 election.

Karen Koehn filed to continue her term in Seat 4 on the Alva School Board.

Clint Olson was the only individual filing for Seat 4 on the Waynoka board.

There were two open positions in Freedom. Robert Babcock, the incumbent, filed for another term in Seat 4. Phil Kirkpatrick filed for the Seat 2 unexpired term.
