No arrest in death after fight at assisted living center

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities in Oklahoma City say no charges have been filed following the death an 84-year-old woman who broke a hip at an assisted living center during an altercation with another elderly resident.

The Office of the State Medical Examiner has ruled that the Oct. 18 death of Wynema Jean Patterson was a homicide. Authorities say Patterson fell and broke her hip during a minor scuffle Aug. 1 with an 82-year-old man who also resided at the center.
