An Alva man has been charged with a felony after a search of a his residence. Johnny Charles Briseno, 48 of Alva, has been charged with possession of a firearm after a former felony conviction. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for one to ten years.

Court records show on Oct. 21 a search warrant was served in the 1000 block of Seventh Street at an apartment occupied by Briseno and Gary Lyon.
