The Kiowa City Council met for their monthly meeting Dec. 10. Mayor Ron Rohr opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. He called the meeting to order with all members present including: Russ Molz, Brian Hill, Tom Wells, R.L. Simpson, Bill Watson. City Administrator Lou Leone and City Clerk Trish Brewer also sat at the table. City attorney Laurel McClellan was absent.

Leone reported that near the end of the year the city budget is 7.5 percent below. He said there's an estimated $74,000 cash in the general fund. He said that 2018 started out with just $27,000 cash.
