Dominant Second Half Helps Henderson Roll Southeastern Oklahoma, 80-65

DURANT, Okla. — Henderson State turned in one of its best all-around performances of the year on Tuesday afternoon and used a dominant second half to roll past Great American Conference leader Southeastern Oklahoma State 80-65 at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
The Reddies (8-3, 3-2) got off to a strong start on the road and used two 3-pointers from Rel Johnson to jump out to an early 11-3 lead, but the Savage Storm (7-2, 3-2) slowly crept back and out-scored Henderson by nine over the final 16 minutes of the opening frame to take a 35-34 advantage into the break.
