Memorial services will be held at Beadles Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at 2 p.m. with Nathan Braudrick, Alva Church of God, officiating. John Richard, son of Marie Louise (Zunker) and John Samuel Hillman was born May 27, 1956, in Alva, Oklahoma. He passed away at Beadles Nursing Home on December 22, 2018, at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 25 days.

He attended the Alva school system and graduated with the class of 1974.

John worked as a custodian at the Alva High School. He transferred to Lincoln Elementary School where he was the head custodian until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John was a proud life long resident of Alva. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
