Timely Runs Lift Oklahoma Baptist Over Henderson, 89-77

SHAWNEE, Okla. — Henderson State got 16 points from Joshua Jones, but Oklahoma Baptist used a big run in the second half to pull away from the Reddies 89-77 on Thursday night in the Noble Complex.

Jones' season-high 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting and five rebounds led the Reddies offensively. Rel Johnson added 14 points and both Tanner Hamilton and Anthony Lupardus each chipped in 11.

Henderson (8-4, 3-3) used 10 early points from Jones to build a lead as large as 32-27 with five minutes to go in the first half, but OKBU used a timely12-2 run to close the period and take a 39-34 advantage into...
