DURANT, Okla. – Despite a 25-point effort from Kevin Buckingham, a cold shooting effort from long range would prove costly in a 68-60 road loss to Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday night in Monticello, Ark.
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 9-3 overall and 5-3 in Great American Conference play heading into a 3 p.m. matchup on Saturday afternoon against Southern Arkansas.
