Russellville, Ark. – The SAU Baseball team came out on top of the preseason GAC Coaches Poll released Tuesday afternoon.

The Muleriders totaled 114 points while receiving 7 out of 12 first-place votes. The Muleriders are coming off a 2018 campaign that saw them go 41-19 on the season, including 22-11 in conference play, and win the conference tournament before losing in the Central Regional Final to Augustana University: the eventual national champions.

The Muleriders received six more points than second-place Oklahoma Baptist (108 points), who also received three out of 12 first-place votes....
