RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Following a 44-19 season that saw the Arkansas Tech softball team turn in a second-place finish in the Great American Conference, the 2019 Golden Suns were picked to match that finish in the preseason coaches' poll, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Arkansas Tech placed second in the poll. Last year, the Golden Suns claimed their first GAC Championships title and advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the third time in four seasons.
