James Robert “Bob” Meade died Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center. He was born November 28, 1938, to Kenneth Ray and Reba Eileen (Cummings) Meade in Enid, Oklahoma.

After graduating from Alva High School in Alva, Oklahoma, James attended Bethany Nazarene College in Bethany, Oklahoma, from which he earned an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Christian Ministry. On July 23, 1958, he married Marilyn B. (Lile) Meade. James served 53 years as a pastor for the Church of the Nazarene as well as two years in the Wesleyan Church until his retirement in 2005.
