Basketball is winding down for the elementary and junior high teams at Burlington.

This year the elementary teams had ten boys and 14 girls play basketball. The boys had a record of 3-7 and will be graduating Zane Willard and Kaden Williams. The elementary girls had a record 1-8, winning their last game against Aline-Cleo. They will be graduating Haylee Jantz, Emily Klippenstein, Hailey McCullough, Summer Olson and Ranee Russell.

The junior high basketball teams have one more tournament in Medford at the end of January. The boys had a team of eight players and, so far, a record of 1-9. The junior high girls have a team of five players, but include four sixth-graders as well. Their record is 7-4. Weston Allen, JC Crusinbery, Kevin Kaumans, Ky Smith, Kali Gardner, Ashlynn Paschall and Brooke Whittet are the eighth graders who will be moving on to high school basketball next year.

The boys' teams were coached by Garrett Bebermeyer, who is currently serving his first year at Burlington. The girls were coached by long-time Burlington coach Kirsten Pruett.
