Alfalfa County commissioners sign master service agreement with Dobson Technologies

January 30, 2019

The Alfalfa County commissioners kicked off their regularly scheduled meeting Monday morning by approving routine items, such as minutes from last week’s meeting, payroll warrants, maintenance and operation warrants, and blanket purchase orders. There was only one road crossing permit this week – for $500 in Commissioner Jay Hague's District 1. The commissioner was appointed NODA representative for Alfalfa County next, with Stan Tucker appointed as the alternate.

A transfer document from the assessor to the county clerk for Alera/Valencia Return Bridge (Invoice No. H105-100.08) and Alera/Valencia Hutch with doors (Invoice No. H105-100.02C) was accepted, as well as a correction from last week’s meeting on written quotes for the bridge-yard cleanup in Helena at District 3.

The commissioners signed the letter of authorization and master service agreement with Dobson Technologies this week after deciding to move forward with the telecommunications solution company during their last meeting.

Moving on, the three officials approved a name change for the sheriff/E911 receiving officer Amanda Kutz to Amanda Jones due to marriage.

Declarations of surplus were made and approved for District 1 on an electric drill 20 ton press (Invoice No. D1 423-103), a 1,650 gallon water tank (Invoice No. D1 457-101), and a 2003 Coleman Magna Force air compressor (Invoice No. D1 406-106, Serial No. B01511243), and for a 2011 John Deere Flex Mower X15 (Invoice No. D2 441-213, Serial No. 1POHX15FHBT029679) and a 2005 power washer (Invoice No. D2 439-201, Serial No. 101-65-491).

A correction to a surplus declaration was made and approved on a 2015 Mower/Flex Wing/CX15 John Deere (Invoice No. D2 441-219, Serial No. 1POCX15FCET044238) to return it back to District 2 inventory.

Lastly, the commissioners approved the county clerk to go out on bid for District 3 for a 2019 ½ ton pickup, and adjourned the meeting immediately after approving the Alfalfa County Sheriff’s Office Vesta upgrade project notification and signoff.
