Fourth-Quarter Shutdown Leads to Harding Victory

SEARCY – Harding held Southeastern Oklahoma without a bucket for the last eight minutes of the game and defeated the Savage Storm 63-53 Thursday at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Southeastern's Alexis Robinson made a 3-pointer with 8:16 left to tie the game at 50-50, but Harding forced nine straight missed shots down the stretch and ended the game on a 13-3 run.

The victory was Harding's seventh in eight home games this season and boosted the Lady Bisons to 13-6 overall and 8-5 in the GAC. Harding has won four straight at home against Southeastern, who fell to 10-7 overall and 8-5 in conferenc...
