Harding Women's Tennis Blanks Texas Permian Basin

DALLAS - Harding women's tennis posted its second straight victory to open the spring season Saturday with a 7-0 shutout of Texas Permian Basin.

Harding (2-0) won all three doubles matches. Head coach David Redding changed his lineup, pairing Rylie Cox and Lindy Carpenter at No. 1, where they won 6-2. Hana Folse and Arisa Takanashi teammed at No. 2 and won 6-3. Allison and Emily Carpenter won their fifth straight match and improved to 7-2 overall with a 6-4 victory.

Harding won all six singles matches, including a 6-1, 6-2 win by 48th-ranked Rylie Cox at No. 1. It was her fifth straight single...
