Meyers, Parizek lead Eagles in Texas Tech Open

LUBBOCK, Texas (Feb. 2, 2019) – Colton Meyers finished third in the 3,000 meters and Nick Parizek recorded a personal-best time in the mile for Oklahoma Christian on Saturday in the Texas Tech Open at the Sports Performance Center.
Meyers, a sophomore from Allen, Texas, ran in the top four of the 22-man field throughout his race and moved up a spot to third on the final lap while finishing in 9:04.99.
Parizek, a freshman from Oklahoma City, placed 16th among 56 runners in the mile with a time of 4:38.21. Teammate Kelton Reynolds wasn't far back, finishing 25th in 4:41.43.
