OBU Men Start Slow, Lose 83-71 at Henderson

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Oklahoma Baptist sputtered out of the starting blocks and could not regroup as the men's basketball team lost 83-71 at Henderson State. The loss dropped OBU's record 11-9 overall and 10-4 in the Great American Conference.

OBU will look to get back to its winning ways Thursday, Feb. 7 at Southeastern Oklahoma. The Bison are at home again on Saturday, Feb. 9 against Southwestern Oklahoma.

Antonio Wade had 17 points and Brantly Thompson added 13 to lead OBU.

OBU found itself down 21-6 after the first eight minutes of play. The Bison did manage to cut Henderson's lead to seven...
