MARGARET LOU 'MARGIE' RATZLAFF

Margaret Lou “Margie” Ratzlaff, 87, passed February 8, 2019. She was born March 12, 1931, in Wichita, Kansas, to Earl and Gladys (Sellars) Glasgow. She lived in Alva from 1948-1960 before coming to Oklahoma City.

She was an insurance clerk for Integris Baptist Medical Center for over 20 years. Margie was a longtime, active member of Ridgecrest United Methodist Church (now Cornerstone UMC), participating in Project Transformation youth summer program, serving on the parsonage committee, and teaching youth Sunday school. She prepared Mobile Meals and volunteered in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Known for being a fabulous cook, she was a big OU football and basketball fan.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kim; brother, Robert Glasgow; and sister, Dana Glasgow.

Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Cliff; sons, Larry and wife Lisa of Madison, Mississippi, and Randy of Forney, Texas; two grandchildren, Christopher and wife Keeton, and Bartlett Ratzlaff; and other extended family members.

Services will be Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
