Lady Rangers fall to ECU at home, 88;80; Brown records fifth double-double

ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State University women were unable to overcome a slow start Saturday afternoon as the Lady Rangers' three-game win streak came to an end at the hands of East Central, 88-80.

Northwestern's record moves to 9-14 overall and 6-10 in Great American Conference play with the loss. The Lady Rangers remain in the hunt for the GAC Conference tournament as they are now in a tie with Oklahoma Baptist for the eighth spot.

The Lady Rangers struggled out of the gate in the first quarter, while the Lady Tigers were shooting lights out from long range. The visiting team...
