Races develop in Cherokee, Goltry and Waynoka city elections

Filing for municipal offices ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6. Three towns in Woods and Alfalfa counties will have races on the April 2 general election ballot. Waynoka will have two contested council seats and Cherokee will have one. Goltry has three town board trustee positions open with seven candidates filing.
All the following are four year terms except those listed for unexpired terms which are two years. Here are the final results of filing:
