The Waynoka Local Livestock Show was Saturday, Feb. 9.

TOP: Chris Green and his Grand Champion Gilt. BOTTOM: Rowdy Bouziden and his Grand Champion Steer.

The show started with the goats. The Grand Champion Doe Goat was shown by Makenzie Smith, Grand Champion Wether Goat went to Tayen Redgate and Reserve Grand Champion Wether to Brooke Ferguson. In the swine show, the Grand Champion Gilt was exhibited by Chris Green and the Reserve Grand Champion Gilt by Granger Anderson. In the barrows, Mattie Pitts showed the Grand Champion with her Hamp and the Reserve Grand Champion Barrow went to Tayen Redgate's Duroc.

Next was the cattle show. In the heifers, Rhiata Bouziden received the Grand Champion with her Simmental. The Reserve Grand Champion Heifer was shown by Rowdy Bouziden. The Grand Champion Steer went to Rowdy Bouziden's Angus and Traben Redgate received the Reserve Grand Champion. In the sheep show, Paisley Reed showed the Grand Champion Ewe and the Reserve Grand Champion Ewe.


The show also included a baking contest this year for five different age groups. Each group made a different item, which included cookies, brownies, pies and cakes. After these items were judged, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place items were auctioned off as a fund raiser for FFA and FCCLA and part going back to the winner.
