Four requests on Tourism Tax agenda

The Alva Tourism Tax Committee is scheduled to hear four requests for funding during the February meeting. The committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Classroom 2 of the Alva Recreation Center.
Heartland BEST Robotics is requesting an amount not to exceed $5,000.
Alva’s RACE club will request funding for two events. The Big Cruise and Car Show request is for $26,300. The amount requested for Alva’s Crazy Cool Boulevard Cruise is $3,900.
The final request is for $5,820 for 2019 Tourism Marketing....
