SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist let a large second-half lead slip away allowing Arkansas Tech to escape with an 89-87 men's basketball victory Thursday in Shawnee.

Alex Brown's putback of an errant three-point attempt with 0.4 seconds was enough to lift the Wonder Boys to the improbable comeback.

The loss dropped OBU to 13-12 and 12-7 in the Great American Conference standings. The Bison are tied for fourth with Henderson State, one game back of third-place Southeastern Oklahoma.

OBU remains at home for its next contest Saturday against Harding. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Noble Complex.
