Reddies' Rally Falls Short in 86-77 Loss to No. 7 SWOSU

WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Henderson State got 20 points from Pink Jones, but a big second quarter run from No. 7 Southwestern Oklahoma put the Reddies in a hole too big to dig out of on Thursday night, as they fell to the Lady Bulldogs 86-77.

The Reddies (17-8, 12-7) jumped out to a 9-2 lead in the game's opening minutes and led 27-26 with 6:44 to go until halftime, but SWOSU (24-1, 19-0) used a back-breaking 23-2 run to end the first half and take a commanding 49-29 advantage into the break.

Henderson clawed its way back into the game in the third period, when the Reddies opened the quarter...
