SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lost meaningful ground in its efforts to gain a berth in the Great American Conference women's basketball tournament by suffering a 91-65 loss to visiting Arkansas Tech Thursday in Shawnee.
OBU fell to 10-15 overall and 6-13 in the GAC. The Lady Bison are ninth place, two games back of eighth-place Northwestern Oklahoma State with three games remaining. The top eight teams qualify for the league's post-season tournament next month in Bartlesville.
