Oklahoma Baptist Shoots Past Harding Saturday

SHAWNEE, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist had five players score in double figures in a 94-65 victory over Harding Saturday in Great American Conference play at the Noble Complex.

Antonio Wade and Dishon Lowery led Oklahoma Baptist (14-12, 13-7) with 20 points each.

Oklahoma Baptist shot 56 percent and made five 3-pointers to pull out to a 45-29 halftime lead. Harding struggled from the floor, shooting 11 of 30 (37 percent) and missing seven of its eight 3-pointers.

Oklahoma Baptist led by as many as 20 with 2:17 left in the half.

Harding (5-21, 3-17) pulled within 14 points at 55-41 on a Reggie Anthony layup with 16:17 left, but Oklahoma Baptist scored the next four points and pulled away.

Oklahoma Baptist shot 61.1 percent from the floor, the highest by a Harding opponent this season. The team hit 11-of-22 3-pointers and 17-of-19 free throws.

Harding shot 43 percent and made four 3-pointers.

Jordan West started for the first time this season and led Harding with 13 points. It was his second straight game to lead the Bisons in scoring. Adam Horn added 12 points, his 10th game this season in double figures.

Harding returns home Thursday to take on Southwestern Oklahoma.
