Edgar Allen was born on a farm northeast of Alva, Oklahoma, on March 17, 1929, the youngest son of Otto and Millie Schwerdtfeger and passed from this life on February 27, 2019, at Beadles Nursing Home in Alva at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 10 days.
