Extra innings not kind to OC as UCO sweeps

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (March 1, 2019) – Not much apparently separates Oklahoma Christian and No. 15-ranked Central Oklahoma, as evidenced by a pair of extra-inning softball thrillers on Friday at Tom Heath Field.

Unfortunately for OC, the breaks fell the Bronchos' way in extra time, thanks to two key hits by Jobi Heath. UCO took the first game 7-5 in eight innings, then held on for a 2-1 win in 10 innings to complete a hard-fought sweep of the Eagles in the cross-Edmond rivalry.
