Harding Shuts Down Northwestern, Earns No. 4 Seed at GAC Tournament

 


SEARCY – Harding combined smothering defense and dominance on the boards to defeat Northwestern Oklahoma 70-47 Saturday in its final Great American Conference regular season game of the season at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

With the victory, Harding improved to 20-8 overall and 15-7 in the GAC. The Lady Bisons will be the No. 4 seed in the GAC Tournament, which begins next week in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Harding will play No. 5 seed Henderson State on Friday, March 8, at noon.
