Harding Women's Tennis Blanks Ouachita, Wins Fifth Straight

 


SEARCY – Harding women's tennis ran its winning streak to five straight matches with a 7-0 nonconference victory over Ouachita Baptist on a blustery Saturday afternoon at the Harding Tennis Courts.

Harding (8-1) won two of the three doubles matches and swept singles with six straight-sets victories. Ouachita lost its sixth straight and fell to 2-10 overall.

Harding took the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and No. 3. Emily and Allison Carpenter won 7-5 for their 11th victory in 13 matches this season. Erin Young and Joee Crocker won 6-3 at No. 3 for their second victory of the season.
