SE Tennis Tripped Up at No. 17 MSU

 


WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Southeastern swept through doubles play to take an early lead, but struggled in singles play against No. 17 Midwestern State, falling 5-2 on Friday in Wichita Falls, Texas.

The loss drops the Savage Storm to 1-1 heading into the Great American Conference opener on March 4 against Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Ark.

Sandro Lena and Jason Roberts picked up the team's first doubles win, downing MSU's number two duo 6-1

Ondrej Nice and Benjamin Finet followed up with a 6-4 win at the one position to secure the doubles point.
