An Enid man died in a Garfield County wreck Friday, March 1. Wayne Ernest Goll, 67, of Enid, was pronounced dead at the scene. He is the brother of Dean Goll of Alva.

According to the Highway Patrol, Goll was driving a 2018 Chrysler 300 northbound on U.S. Highway 81 approximately 0.2 miles north of Holden Road, approximately five miles north of Enid. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right at Holden Road and re-entered the roadway. The vehicle left the roadway to the right once more and struck a cement culvert and corner post of a fence. The vehicle subsequently caught fire and burned.
