SNU's rally falls short as Storm fall 6-5 to OC

 


BETHANY, Okla. — In a non-conference battle with their archrival Oklahoma Christian, Southern Nazarene dropped a thriller at Feland Field 6-5 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Crimson Storm (4-12) had an opportunity in the bottom of the ninth to walk-off their home field with a victory, but the Eagles closed the door on an exciting game in Bethany. Both SNU and OC tallied double-digit hits in the game as the Eagles finished with 13, while the Storm recorded 10. The pitching staff for SNU recorded 13 strikeouts in the game, while the Storm hitters only struck out six times in the contest.
