Carol Ann (Cecil - Axline) Olson was born July 31, 1946, and passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Summers Rest Home in Okeene, Oklahoma.

Carol Ann was born to Kenneth Cecil and Fola Mae (Melkus - Cecil) Axline. As a teenager, she was adopted by her stepfather, Bill Axline. As a champion barrel racer and former Miss Rodeo Kansas, Carol Ann enjoyed an agrarian lifestyle with a love of animals and fishing. After graduating high school at Medicine Lodge, Kansas, in 1964, she went on to achieve an Arts degree at Northwestern State University.
