David John Meyer was born on March 18, 1941, on the Meyer farm north of Cheney, Kansas, to John George Meyer and Beatrice Bomholt Meyer. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cheney and was a member at the time of his death.
