During this day there were eight traffic stops, four civil papers served and two controlled burns.

7:55 a.m. – Vehicle accident at 5th Street and Ohio involving a loaded school bus. Injuries were unknown. Medic and Cherokee Fire Department were on scene. Everything was fine. All were released from the scene.

2:20 p.m. – Caller advised the oil site where he worked was broken into and some items were stolen. Deputy en route.

4:08 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver that ran them off the road at County Road 640 and U.S. Highway 64.
