RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - After contributing 6.0 innings to the team-shutout win over Ouachita, junior Arkansas Tech pitcher Drake Norton has been named the Great American Conference Pitcher of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Norton is the third Wonder Boy to receive the conference weekly award.

Norton, a Yukon, Okla. native, had a stellar outing in the Wonder Boys' mid-week contest with Ouachita, allowing just two hits, while throwing 6.0 shutout innings. Norton also fanned a season-high six batters in Tech's 10-0 win over the Tigers. Norton's efforts helped Tech tally its...
