Burlington STEM students compete at engineering fair

The acronym "STEM" is an important word in education. In a world full of ever-increasing technology, the need for students to be educated in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) is also ever increasing.

This year at Burlington, science teacher Jennifer Newlin received approval to begin a short STEM class as an addition to the regular reading and remediation break. Students eligible to join are able to personally pursue STEM projects during that time.
