Jakob O'Brien of Alva performs in American Idol auditions Monday on ABC.
Auditioning on ABC's American Idol Monday night, Jakob O'Brien from Alva performed an original song he wrote about America.
"I wrote it because I love my country," O'Brien said before his performance.
Even though he didn't make it to Hollywood, he got his guitar signed by Luke Bryan.
"You just keep writing songs that you believe in. Keep them coming from the heart. I don't know if we got a spot that will put you in a situation where you are going to really compete and finish high on American Idol. But man, we are glad to have met you."...
